Probably a simple question for you Excel experts. I want to shift the orientation of a worksheet so that the rows and columns are reversed.

How do I do that?

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
if you want to turn the columns into rows and vice versa, then select your range of data, and copy it to the clipboard. then place your cursor in the top left-hand cell of where you want to paste the data (cannot be the same location as your original data range). then go to edit/paste special, and select transpose.

Select your range then Cut, Select where you want to paste then PasteSpecialand Transpose (and it can be the same location as your original data range)
