keyboard shortcut for paste special...

Does anyone know of a keyboard shortcut for "paste special: values" I have a bunch of data I have to go through and this would help a lot!!

Well, I don't know of a keyboard shortcut, but you could use the following hotkey combinations:

Alt, E, S

This will bring up the paste special dialog.

Thanks...I just figured out all I have to do is create a macro and assign a short cut to the macro....it seems to be working fine...

What about CTRL + C to copy then CTRL + V to paste

Hi Kris, those are the shortcuts for copy and paste, however, I need to paste "special". Meaning, I have formula's that are returning values, when I copy the cell, I don't want to paste the formula, so I need to right click where I want to paste, choose, paste special, and then choose values...I've been doing this for several days now with one years worth of historical data.....I'm not even half way done... Every second I can shave off really helps....

Use: ALT+E and S (ALT + E then leave the key and press S)
