Hi there,

The "Centre Across Selection" is very helpful in avoid having to merge cells and in my case, use the "Auto Fit Row Height" function.

However, I would like the Text to align left across the selection, not centre. Is this possible? My input data is being entered across cells C32:G32 and I have wrapped the text across this range. When text is entered into cell C32 I would like text to align left and adjust the row height automatically if more space is needed.

I tried selecting the "Centre Across Selection" plus "Auto Fit Row" plus "Wrap Text" plus changing the Format Cells Custom to ;;;@""*

This doesn't give me the result I was after though. It only works to a degree if the "Wrap Text" function is off but then I lose the ability to Auto Fit the row. Any ideas please?

Thank you!

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Instead of "Centre Across Selection", use the next one on the list...."distributed (Indent)"

The Wrap function doesn't seem to work on Distributed Indent though. It just fits everything into cell C32 and enlarges the row to fit, rather than distributing across the entire range C32:G32 and then enlarging row to fit if need be.

I don't think you will get the exact desired result.
Center across & wrap text will be about as close as you will get !
