I have a workbook that contains 20 pivots - one to each tab - the original pivots covered the same data range A:Z previously on refreshing one pivot the other 19 would auto refresh also.

I have had to extend the range to A:AC across all pivots - now when I refresh one pivot the others remain unchanged and I have to manually refresh each individually.

Have I done something wrong when amending range on all pivots? Is there Is there a workaround?

Does selecting 'Refresh on Open' help?

In each of your pivot tables, either:

A- go to Data...PivotTable and PivotChart Rpeorts....which will open step 3 of the wizard.
then you can
Click "Options..."
In the Data Options section, select 'Refresh on Open'

or

B- right click from inside the Pivot Table
Click "Table Options..."
In the Data Options section, select 'Refresh on Open'

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
And a bit back then forward again: think I've worked through all variants on the x steps back y steps forward theme ...

The fourth option in step 1 of the wizard is to base it on an existing table.

You know how sometimes you've looked at something so many times you stop seeing it properly ...

Thank you
