Hi People, I'm really stuck with this one and wanted to know if anyone knows a way round it? My problem is this, I'm trying to do a vlookup on a list of items where the item I'm looking up may appear more than once. when this happens it will only post the result of the first one it comes to in the list when I use the standard vlookup. does anyone know of a way I can get it to report all the results for a value that appears more than once?

Small example of list below.

Code PO Line Description Qty Due UOM
7 4500073803 10 15mm Sandstone 3,018 M
7 4500074179 10 15mm Sandstone 3,018 M
7 4500074509 10 15mm Sandstone 3,018 M
12 4500073803 20 15mm Jet 3,018 M
12 4500074509 20 15mm Jet 6,036 M
46 4500074179 20 15mm Poppy 3,018 M
48 4500074179 30 15mm White 6,036 M

I have been working with pivot tables a little but it doesn´t seem to be seperateing the data how i want it! If this is the best route can you help on how i should approach the set up. thanks

Let's call the sheet housing the source data DBase.

Create a sheet named DM.

On Sheet DM, in A1 enter DM.

Now try to adapt the formulas from post #3 of this thread.
