I have a very basic table (formatted as Table). A few of the columns have simple formulas; when I enter data on a new row, the formula does not copy down. How can I do this? I have Excel 2016.

in a non-formatted table; I could just copy the formula in an entire column but can't in a table as it creates blank rows.

Hi,

You need to do the following:

  1. Modify the initial formula; when editing notice the Lightning box which will come up Called "AutoCorrect Option".
  2. Click on the box and a drop menu will appear
  3. Click "Control Auto Correct Options"
  4. A box will open with multiple options click on the "Include new rows and columns in table", so that it is now ticked.
  5. .
This will get your Table to auto fill new rows in again.
Hope this helps.

Hi,

That setting was already set. This is content formatted as a table as I use it for Pivot tables on another sheet. This also is an issue for non-tabled data.
