Okay... I normally dabble with some Excel VBA, but now I've found something I want to do in Outlook.
We have a web application that generates an Outlook email and a PDF. However, due to security restrictions, the file is not allowed to be automatically attached to the email. This means that the user has to go after the fact and attach a specific file to the email based on the generated subject line. I want to automate this process based on the subject line (which includes the base of the filename) for the generated email.
I can find all kinds of code that creates a "new" email in Outlook and attaches a file, but I can't seem to modify it to attach a file to the current email.
Can anybody offer any help?
ETA:
It would need to read the subject line of the generated email and modify it slightly to attach the file.
