overlay data points on clustered column chart

I am trying to create a clustered column chart with data points overlaid on each respective column. Essentially, I have two columns for a metric for March and April and then another metric that I want as a data point overlaid on the respective March and April column. When I do scatter XY or even line with markers it lays the points in the middle of the columns.
