Excel Office 365

I have a pivot table with dates across the top in row 1, names in column A, numbers in the cells below each date for each person.

I am looking for a way to provide a sum of the numbers for the dates that are on Friday, Saturday, Sunday while still keeping the other dates and numbers. I think this would go in calculated field?

I have tried sumifs(), weekday(), and various combinations

Any help greatly appreciated

Thank you
Eric

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
