As you know that you can run DAX query in EXCEL 2013, I am wondering if you can do so in Power BI desktop. I don't think its possible at the moment, just want to confirm this from other sources.

Thanks, scott. Well, Chris' post shows you how to run query against ssas cube. What I want to find out is if you can query the powerpivot database in the POWER BI desktop?
