hello!

I recently installed 2 add ins on excel.
both xla files were on my desktop until i decided i would have a use of the add in on a regular basis.

I uninstalled them from excel, i cut/pasted the files in the addin folder.
i clicked "addin" in excel then browse and selected the 2 add ins.
i could use them without a glitch.

now: when i switch off my computer and then restart excel i have this annoying message telling me excel cant find the add in (showing the expected location of the add in: on the desktop)

so each time i have to reinstall these 2 .xla files.

any idea what's wrong please?

thanks!

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
Try this:
Uncheck the add-ins.
Close and restart Excel.
Recheck the add-ins. If you get an error message, choose the option to remove them from the list. Then browse to your add-ins and reselect them.
