Query question

Hi there,

I need to create a query for a database in Access 2003 (I did not create it but have experience in using it). There is a table of Courses - when you click [+] by each course, it will give a list of names of students who enrolled for that course, and the date they enrolled. It looks like this:

[+] Course A
[+] Course B
[-] Course C
Name Enrollment Date
Bill Smith 30-May-09
Sue Red 10-Jan-05
Matt Yu 31-Dec-10
[+] Course D

I need to create a query that lets me see which courses (A, B, C, D) did not have any student enrollment in the past year, OR to show how many campers each camp enrolled in the past year.

Is this possible?

Eventually I'd like to make it so the user can input a date range (ie Jan 2005-June 2006) and retrieve the courses that had no enrollment, but I think I need to start out simple.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!:)
