im using ROUND(E7,-2) to round to the nearest hundred, but is there a way to adapt it to round to the nearest 50, or 75 ?

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
you could use
=ROUND(E7/50,0)*50

or the somewhat finicky
=MROUND(E7,50)
which requires the analyst tool pak be installed.

, one more question, if i enter 0 in E7 i need it to be ignored and give a result of 0,

but if someone enters 1 in E7 then it will round it to 50

is this possible?

Have you not tried =CEILING(E7,50)?
