Hi All,

i'm not having much luck with vba for word so i'm trying a work around.

is there a way to save a copy of a word document AS a pdf with the name being a cell value in excel?

let me give you my exact example. I have an excel with a few command buttons, one command button opens a template in word and saved the excel sheet as a pdf copy, i have another one that does the same but in french and then i have a "finished" button that resets the fields and adds 1 to the unique id, which is meant to be used when the person is done modifying the word doc.

so what i want to do is when the "finished" button gets pressed the same current stuff applies, erases some fields and adds 1 to a cell but additionally i want it to save a copy of the word doc it opened as a pdf

I'm hoping this is easier than my original question since that one got no answers :( , thanks.
