Set column order in a table before export

How can I re-order a table to ensure the columns are in a set order before exporting? I need to make sure no columns are hidden and then re-sort to the order they are in the design view, or I can take the time to specify the column order directly -- either way would be fine.

I am comfortable with VBA or the macro builder, but I can't seem to find a way to make this happen.

Thanks!

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
You would use a Query to sort your records the way that you like.
Then export the query.

Thank you! Now that you say that, it's a perfectly obvious solution and I feel pretty stupid for not thinking of that. Thank you for the help!
