Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
What version of Excel are you using?

I suggest that you update your Account details (or click your user name at the top right of the forum) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)

If you have 365 how about
Excel Formula:
=textafter(a2,"_")

That suggests you do not have the latest updates, try running an update.

If you cannot update Office, then another option is
Excel Formula:
=REPLACE(A2,1,FIND("_",A2),"")

Have you tried the other two suggestions?

Hi,

=MID(A2:A14,FIND("GBR",A2:A14),200 worked (THANK YOU) but what if i wanted it to find ROI in the same formula please?
