Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
it depend on the format

Way 1
=TEXT(MONTH(A1+0),"00")
Way 2
=MID(A1,4,5)
Way 3
=MID(A1,FIND("-",A1)+1,2)
