I have sheets named Jun 2012, Jul 2012...to Mar 2015

I want to sum
(across all sheets)
s:s if r:r =q2

I have seen this formula =SUMPRODUCT(SUMIF(INDIRECT("'"&Z1:Z212&"'!B3"),99,INDIRECT("'"&Z1:Z212&"'!G3")))

But cant seem to tailor it to my needs

I have a list on the sheets running from p3:p36, q2 is the criteria

Any ideas?

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Try...

=SUMPRODUCT(SUMIF(INDIRECT("'"&$P$3:$P$36&"'!R:R"),Q2,INDIRECT("'"&$P$3:$P$36&"'!S:S")))

Hope this helps!

The formula will return #REF ! when one or more sheets listed in P3:P36 do not exist.
