Hi,

Any help greatly appreciated as I cannot get my head around this formula.

Basically I am looking to create a sumif where the months below are within a drop down menu and when this changes month the data will update to marry the month selected? I have a separate sheet saved with all the data in so just need to point the sumifs to those data labels but cant seem to make it work

JulyAugust

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
Hi. It depends what your data looks like as to how you would do this. Is 'July' a date formatted to look like 'July' or is it just text. What is in your data? Dates or text representing a month?
