Hi!

I got this formula: =TEXT(4.93838382;CHOOSE($D$29;"0.0";"0.00";"0.000")), so if D29 has 1, it will choose "0.0", if 2, "0.00" and so on. My problem is this only works with decimal conventions in English. Since Spanish uses commas for decimals, the formula does not work. Any ideas to work around this? Thanks!

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Not sure if this will cover all cases but give this a try:
Excel Formula:
=TEXT(4.93838382,"0"&MID(4.93838382,LEN(INT(4.93838382))+1,1)&REPT("0",D29))
or
Excel Formula:
=LET(x,4.93838382,
         TEXT(x,"0"&MID(x,LEN(INT(x))+1,1)&REPT("0",D29)))
