Two Excel Objects in Word

I have a Word document that had a bunch of Word Tables with formulas that link to other tables in the document. I've converted these tables into Excel Objects in the Word Document but can't seem to figure out how to get values from one Excel Object to another.

For example, let's say that I have 2 Excel Objects (Worksheets) in Word. If the value of 12345 is in cell A1, how can I get this value (for use in a formula) in the second Excel Object (Worksheet) in the Word Document??

Hopefully I'm just missing something relatively simple...

Ps. It's Office 2003 I'm dealing with.

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Well... I'm hoping that someone can shed some light on this. In the interim, I've grouped both Excel Worksheet Objects that are in my Word document so that I can reference cells. It's not pretty, but it'll have to do.

Surely there has to be a way to "bookmark" certain cells from one object for use in another one further down the document... no?
