Hi all

I have a bit of a wierd problem

I have saved a spreadsheet on our server as a shared workbook that gets populated from a userform on my(or the other users desktop)
The macro opens the workbook on the server, copys in the info from the userform into the "Master Data File", saves the workbook and closes the file.

But if i open the "Data Master File" and edit info on any sheet and/or cell that data is copied to all sheets (same cell) but there are no links that bind the cells ???????????????
i also cant add or clear the filter on the sheet.

when i open the workbook on the server ("Data Master File") the filename at the top is displayed followed by [Group] [Shared] - i know the workbook must be shared but how/what is the group for and how do i remove it.

Excel Facts

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.

Hi JCHuysamer,

Is there any code hidden behind the sheets, or at ThisWorkbook level?
