I am trying to get away from using conditional formatting for my workbook because it keeps changing.. its a workbook with a refreshable table. What I am trying to do is add some code to the merlett checkbox worksheet selection change so that when the value of the cell in column B is "a" then highlight columns B:U of that row. Below is what I have but its not working.
Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)Dim R As Long
Dim Rng As Range
On Error Resume Next
If Target.Cells.Count > 1 Then Exit Sub
If Not Intersect(Target, Range("$B$1:$B$2000")) Is Nothing Then
Target.Font.Name = "Marlett"
R = Cells(Target.Row)
Set Rng = Range(Cells(R, "B"), Cells(R, "U"))
If Target = vbNullString Then
Target = "a"
Rng.Interior.ColorIndex = 6
Else
Target = vbNullString
End If
End If
Range("J21:K21").Value = ActiveCell.Value
End Sub
