I am trying to create a variable quantity calculator in excel 2007.
I have 20 items.
Each item has a different weight ex. 1.36kg or 2.70kg etc. and a specified order quantity ex. 3 x 1.36kg, 1 x 2.70kg etc.
My total weight for all 20 items cannot exceed a set value (ex. 50kg).
If I zero the quantities in 10 of the items, I need the formula(s) to calculate the change in quantity for each of the remaining 10 items in
proportion to the weight without exceeding the set value of 50kg.

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
