Hello all,

I want to write a code in VBA that deletes row 2 if cell a1 is equal to cell a3 and if cell a1 is not equal to cell 3 then it moves over to cell 2. Then if cell 2 is equal to cell 4 it deletes row 3. This process until there are only 2 rows left for each cell variable on the sheet.

Can anyone help me come up with a code for this?

Kind regards,
Dom.

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
Hi @Dom2oo4

I tried to code what you wrote, but the result is not what you expected.

Code:
i = 1, n = IndexOfLastUsedCell
Do While i < n
  If A(i) = A(i+2) Then
    Delete row (i+1)
    n = n-1
Else
    i = i+1
Loop

Could you confirm that what you wrote is what you want?

It would be easier if you posted some example data.
