How to mark? found in the matriz?

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Not sure if this is what you are asking for but try this, it is a vlookup formula that will return "found" if a value matches something in the matrix and "not found" if there is no match in the matrix.

=IF(ISNUMBER(VLOOKUP(B1,$H$2:$H$8,2,FALSE)),"Found","Not Found")

You can have a lookup linking back to the other table. Try this

=IF(ISNUMBER(MATCH(H2,$B$1:$B$5,0)),"Found","Not Found")

Do you mean that you want the word “found” to appear in the matrix table only after you type something in the lookup? Because you can do that by changing “Not Found” in the formula with just blank quotes. “ “ .

If you dont want to have a formula a formula in column J then you need to make something via VBA.
