I'm doing vLookups from one file to another, and would like to bring in the formatting of the cell in addition to the value.

Is this possible in Excel 2003? If so - can you give me the formula to use?

Thank you!

Hi

No, it's not possible with formulas.

What you can do, if the formatting has any logic, is to incorporate it in the conditional formatting. The ideal would be to use the same conditional formatting in source and target.

Another way would be to write code to perform the copy of the formats.
