Hi,

I have 5 pieces of data that i want to illustrate in a standard column chart, however, i'd like to stack the first two pieces of data only. The remaining three need to be individual column charts. I need all of this in one chart.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Build the stacked chart.
Then right-click series 3 in the chart, change the chart type to an unstacked type, and repeat for the other 2 series.

I had the same question and this is not working for me. When I click on my 3rd data point and change it to unstacked, the 1st 2 become unstacked as well. It changes the whole chart to one or the other (stacked or unstacked). Not sure what I'm doing wrong?
