writing paragraphs in excel

I want the row height to automatically adjust to whatever I have written
.
Presently, I have merged the cells and turned on text wrap, but once I click on another cell the row height goes back to normal and forces me to resize manually in order to see all the text..

Please help

Unfortunately Row AutoFit doesn't work with merged cells. For a VBA solution see:
