Running Excel Macros on a Mac

I currently use an Excel program (with macros) that run weather forecast data. It is compatible with versions XP, 2003, 2007 and 2010. However, I am trying to figure out if I can run it on a Mac. My plan is to run windows on my Mac through Parellels or VMWare Fusion. Any idea if it would work going down that route?

Here is a link to the Excel Program: TX Tornado Forecast Worksheet

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Excel 2008 for the Mac replaced VBA with AppleScript, so it will not work there. Excel 2011 included VBA again. It should work except in 2008.
I just saw the date. You asked two years ago. How did it go?:)

Using a virtual machine should give you no troubles.
Excel 2011 for Mac supports VBA. Active-X is not supported. Legacy Excel controls do work.
