Leader lines

Can you have those leader lines for data points on a line chart (they show up automatically for a pie chart but I don't 'see them with a line chart)? Also, if I only have certain data points labeled, is there a way to just have leader lines for when there is a data point? (I Have my data labels reading off a separate column that relabels them and ignores blanks). ANd can excel somehow automatically move the data labels so they don't block the graphed line?

I have been searching online all day for leader lines in excel 2007 and have come upon numerous codes where people have tried to fix this issue but it does not seem anyone has been successful. Has anyone gotten leader lines via code or another way to work in excel 2007? Daily Dose of Excel » Blog Archive » DataPoint Top and Left for 2007 or earlier.
