    Default Trim Leading and Trailing Characters

    I have a field in an Access query that looks like this:

    ;#system;#

    How do I get rid of the 2 leading and trailing characters? I've used RTrim and LTrim but can't figure out how to use them both at the same time.

    Figured it out...

    mid(myfieldname,3,len(myfieldname)-4)
