Need to create calculated field in pivot table which is linked to power pivot

I need to make a calculated field inside the pivot table. The pivot table is linked to power pivot.

The calculated field option in greyed out in the pivot table calculations tab.

I have had no problems with this from a regular table to a pivot table.

Any advice is appreciated - thanks

Couldn't you just make a measure to handle this?
