How do I assign 2 different role to one command button. For example, I'd like the "save" button on the userform to save the value from the textbox into a worksheet as well as open a different userform.

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Why don't you want to create two buttons? Maybe check box can help you in "assign 2 different role to one command button"?

Maybe like this

Code:
Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()
Sheets("Sheet1").Range("A1").Value = Me.TextBox1.Value
UserForm2.Show
End Sub

Something like:

Code:
Sheets("SheetName").Range("The Cell ID").Value = txtBoxName.Value
Me.Hide
FrmUserform.Show
