    Excel hanging/crashing when using toolbar commands

    This is baffling: Excel 2007 hangs/crashes when I use editing commands. This happens with the following actions (and many others probably): - changing cell contents to bold from the ribbon - changing cell contents to bold with ctrl+b - changing font sizes - changing alignment - printing etc...
