Excel Function or VBA to validate each character in cell to match various input masks
for example >LLLL-99-99-99-LLL9999-LL## where L is ALPHA, 9 numeric, # can be either. example of cell passing this mask; "ABCD-10-20-45-ABC1234-AB00" a function would be best the have a column to flag the data column good/bad and perhaps where "bad" thanks for any guidance, Greg...- GREGO99

Input Mask
Normally this would be Format Cells / Number / Custom, then enter my mask, but I'm struggling with this one. I need the following: 086/63192 displaying as: 0086/063192 (Four/Six) format. Excel needs to add zeros at the start of the first part and the second part of the number to pad it out...- Diesel9a1

Inserting text from Excel to Internet Explorer into a inputbox with a Input mask
I have written a macro that sends text from excel to an input box on a website to be used as for a search. The code works fine for other textboxes, however this textbox is giving me issues. cell contents - 10 digits or greater
I am trying to force my users into giving me data in a certain format. this particular cell needs to be atleast 10 numbers long, or if its greater than 10, the eleventh must be "/" followed by a last single numeric. for example: 1234567891 or 1234567899/1- ajm
