    Hi I'm using code so that when a workbook is read only, it treats it as saved, so the Save prompt doesn't come up. This is in in BeforeClose event. However, if a user opens the spreadsheet (as read only) and does work in it, without bearing in mind it's only read only, then it would not come...

    Save a copy of a file to desktop on open

    Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to have a file save to the desktop (the desktop file are all at different paths found on the work intranet) when it is opened, if the user doesn't know a password. If they do know the password it should open normally. Cheers for the time and effort Mids
