    Sequentially increasing invoice number when opening workbook, without macros? (Excel 2008)

    Hello, I see many posts regarding sequentially increasing numbers (i.e. for an invoice) by using visual basic and macros. But my Excel 2008 for Mac does not support macros, is there a formula way to work around this? Thanks a lot in advance!

Wondering if you could help me with the following: I think it may be easy for you (but very appreciated by me!): I have maybe 25 invoices in one folder, depending on what item the customer orders, and the invoice # is always in the same cell.
