Hi there,

I'm trying to work on a workbook that when opens acess a mysql database hosted on a server.
But I want to share this file.
So, for what I have been reading, you need to install a driver - My SQL ODBC Connector - in order to be able to access the database. My questions are:
1- Is it possible to access an hosted DB without MySQL?
2 - If not, there is another way around besides installing the driver?
3 - Can I execute some VBA code to install the driver automatically ?
As I want to share the file, the other machines must have the driver installed, right?

Thank you in advance.
