Hi everyone,

I have two lists one at D7:D56 and another one at J7:J56 and there is cell G60 which has a value filled.

Here what i am trying to do is adding multiple values from above lists to match the G60 Value and result cell will be H60

The formula should try to add minimum values from list to get the match of G60.

What means minimum values ? mean

for example
if list 1 D7:D56 has these values in each cell 1 + 15 + 6 + 8 + 12
if list 1 D7:D56 has these values in each cell 8 + 2 + 3 + 5 + 10

G60 = 25

Then formula should add bigger amounts first to reduce multiple value additions.

The result could be

This i don't want
6 + 3 + 1 + 5 +10 = Result cell 25

This i want
15 + 10 = Result Cell 25

I hope my question make sense.

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
No, it doesn't make sense. But I will say that trying to find a specific combination from a single list of 49 cells is an enormous task ... think of the combinations of say 3 from 49, and 4 from 49, and 5 from 49 and so on ... where you'd have to check every possibility for it being the most suitable ... do you understand the degree of difficulty here? But I also don't understand what the 2 lists are for ... and why your example mentions the same list twice.
