This question is specifically regarding the repayment of an Advanced Payment.
A construction project allows the contractor a 15% advanced payment payable at the beginning of a project. This advance payment is recoverable when the monthly progress payment reached above 50% percentile of the contract value. The recovery is calculated at 30% of the gross certified value. The value of the advanced payment have to be fully recovered at or before the 90% of the gross certified value. For ease of working out the answer lets assumed the Contract Value is $100 thus the advanced payment value is $15.

You don't actually say what you are trying to calculate here. In any case this seems to be a duplicate of Recovery of Advanced Payment

In relation to your question here, I have closed this thread so please continue in the linked thread. If you do not receive a response, you can "bump" it by replying to it yourself, though we advise you to wait 24 hours before doing so, and not to bump a thread more than once a day.

I also suggest that you update your forum profile (click your user name at the top right of the forum, then ‘Account details’) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)
