Hi,

I have a VLOOKUP formula in Sheet1 which points to Sheet2.

Formula is:
Excel Formula:
=VLOOKUP(B6,Sheet2!$B5$:$C$9,2,FALSE)

I would like to amend the formula so that instead of pointing to Sheet2! it points to Cell B4 which has text 'Sheet2'.

This way if sheet name Sheet2 changes or if I want to point formula to a different Sheet (e.g. Sheet3) I can just type in a different sheet name in cell B4.

How do I do this?

What does the new VLOOKUP formula look like?

Thanks,
Nic

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
How about
Excel Formula:
=VLOOKUP(B6,indirect("'"&b4&"'!$B5$:$C$9"),2,FALSE)
