Hi,

Newb to the forum, but it looks a great place!

Does anyone know if it is possible to attach an object (a graphic) to a bar on a bar chart bar? Or if there is a simple way to achieve the following preferably without VB:

I need to set a number of levels in a storage tank to work out alarm settings. My simple spread sheet has the floating roof shown in a number of positions adjacent to the alarm value, but it is a static graphic and as the alarm values are not evenly spaced and different in different tanks, the sheets look a little odd and not to scale for quick visual reference.

I want to be able to automatically move the graphic of the roof, up and down within the tank, based on the alarm value entered, such that they are to scale and look more visuually representative.

Any ideas guys?

(I thought I had done something similar years ago in Excel 2003, but I cannot find it anywhere and cannot work out how i did it / if it can be done in excel 2010)
