averageif to exclude blank cells

In column E I have list of numbers but some of them are blank. i want tithe averagif to exclude the blank cells in column E and just average the cells with numbers in them.
=AVERAGE(IF(Sheet3!$B$3:$B$5000=$B3,Sheet3!E$3:E$5000))

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
If the cells are truly blank, (not a result of a formula), average won't take them into the calculation result
