My sheet has a PLAYERS tab that include game stats and their player's "rating".
On a separate GAMES tab is a listing of competitions which includes reference to the ratings cell in PLAYERS. Based on their performance, their ratings will changes (+/-) slightly. Therefore, in the PLAYERS tab I included another cell call "new rating" based on the latest competition.
I want to retain the players rating for each event and use the "new rating" for calculations for the next/future competition. How can I do this without getting into a circular error?
