Office Version
  1. 365
Platform
  1. Windows
I've been using Excel since version 2. Most upgrades have had a few bugs. I've not worked for a year, and the version of 365 is sending me crazy.

1) I made changes to a file. My boss and I looked it on Teams, I'd saved it he opened it and shared it. the next day it had disappeared. He and I have known each other for 15 years, we know neither of us would delete it by mistake..
2) We have a masterfile. We make changes to it, but it reverts to old values.
3) Pivot tables have gone nuts. I have a reconciliation pivot, columns of sales by product with the source as an extra column so I can compare sales by source. Some products don't match. So I've even resorted to linking the product to the other source. And it still doesn't match? I type say =B150=B250 and it says true. But on a pivot they appear on separate lines.
This isn't just random stuff, this is stuff going to external regulators, and usually 'Excel isn't working' doesn't wash with them.
4) Just basic, simple formulae won't work. They wont enter, let alone calculate and won't tell you why

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.

If it's any consolation, I'm dealing with a similar problem with MS Word 'Quick Parts' reverting to default after a seemingly random period of time in an Office 365 installation.
