Hi all,

My organization has used a database workbook for over a year now with no issues, now all of a sudden when edits need to be made, it is deleting the data from an entire cell once the cell is clicked out of. This workbook contains macros and is password protected, but this just started happening recently. After some web searches, I've tried clearing any data in the XLSTART folder, disabling add-ins, and restarting the computer - all to no avail.

Has anyone experienced this, or have any ideas for a fix? It's a big setback to be unable to update information in the workbook right now. Many thanks in advance.

- Danny

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Is this happening on more than one computer?
Thanks for your reply - we just tested and it is actually only happening on my computer, interestingly. I guess a setting of some kind got changed, not sure how to narrow down to which one.

That could be tough to track down. You may want to try a reinstall/repair of your excel installation.
