Is it possible for a timer to start if a cell matches a given condition?

e.g A1=TRUE the a timer in B1 starts to count in seconds.

Thanks

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
Yes it is , but it depends on what causes A1=TRUE, if this is a update to the worksheet by the user then you can use the worksheet change event to check A! and trigger a timer if it is true, however if the update if caused by some external data link being updated then the worksheet change event won't be trigger, but you can get round that by using the worksheet calculate event and ensuring that the worksheet is recalculated if A1 changes. e.g. put a function in a spare cell that uses A1 e.g. =Countif("A1:A10",TRUE)
