I have all my bills in a spreadsheet with various due dates. I have a tab for each month and just want to change the month for each tab in the date column, not the year or the day. Is there a formula I can use to do that?

For example:

Bill NameDue DateBalance
Cable03/17/24$100.00
Rent03/01/24$2500.00
School Loan03/15/24$500.00

I want to change the above to:

Bill NameDue DateBalance
Cable04/17/24$100
Rent04/01/24$2500.00
School Loan04/15/24$500.00

you can create a helper column (that will be deleted) with this formula:
assuming due date begins in cell B2.
Excel Formula:
=EDATE(B2,1)
you don't have to worry about formatting as long as the cell isn't text.
then drag to copy down.
then highlight the column, right click and drag over column B.
release the right click.
then "Paste as Values"
then delete your helper column.

This was very helpful, thank you.
