code that worked on 32 bit but not 64 bit,dont recognise .csv files?

dear all i worded the title badly last time and am trying again

the following code allows you to browse to and merges csv files within a folder.

on my old laptop(32 bit) it worked fine.
on my new laptop(64 bit) i had to add declare prtsafe but it just does not seem to recognise a csv file.

Any help really appriciated.

Hi Norie

The reason i asked the question was on my work pc I could not get 32 bit office to install after trying 5 or more times, got the 64 bit from a freind and it worked??

must have been a different issue, i will change office now and see what happens.

When I got a 64-bit machine I installed the 64-bit versions of various things.

I eventually uninstalled them all because they caused too much hassle.:)

At least OpenProcess should be declared As LongPtr
and hProcess argument of GetExitCodeProcess should be As LongPtr as well.
